Is there a better solution to making office buildings healthier, more sustainable and more vital?
Energy reduction of office buildings is an important factor to reduce CO2 emissions in the built environment. However, high costs and other priorities often delay companies to take adequate action on this. Although an extensive range refurbishment options is available in the market, there may be cheaper and smarter solutions available that also take the individual indoor climate preferences of office workers into account. Directly working with employees to create better and healthier offices forms part of the solution in a better use of office buildings, energy resources and climate installations. This is the focus of the Delft based EIT Climate-KIC start-up OfficeVitae.
