Naked Energy in the Global Cleantech 100 Ones to Watch List
The Demand Side Network events of Knight Frank and EIT Climate-KIC BTA gave a boost to the start-up Naked Energy, which is now one of the nominees in ‘the Global Cleantech 100 Ones to Watch List’ 2016.

Last year Knight Frank and BTA hosted a number of Demand Side Network events across Europe. These were dynamic matchmaking events, enabling property investors, landlords and building services organisations to meet with the providers of new technologies across the Energy sector.
Naked Energy has developed a patented hybrid solar technology, which co-generates both electricity and heat for commercial and industrial applications. Naked Energy gained interest from companies in both Sweden and the UK, resulting in a number of these companies preparing to adopt the technology. Naked Energy has a strong commercial team and has since secured key industrial partnerships to enable them to deliver scalable projects. Naked Energy has just been nominated in ‘the Global Cleantech 100 Ones to Watch List’ 2016.
The company has been undertaking long-term field trials of Virtu at a hotel in Malta. The performance data being collected is in line with expectations and demonstrating market leading competitiveness. Naked Energy has just started trials with a major UK supermarket chain and with the support of the EIT Climate-KIC is commissioning a highly innovative inter-seasonal storage project in Holland.
